The idea behind our brand came from a simple frustration we experienced ourselves. Time after time, our favourite shirts, blouses, and jackets would lose their shape after hanging on ordinary clothing hangers. Shoulder bumps, stretched fabric, unwanted creases, and unnecessary wear became increasingly noticeable, even on garments that were only a few months old.
We realised that many people invest in quality clothing but overlook the way those clothes are stored every day.
Instead of accepting this as normal, we started searching for better alternatives. That search led us to carefully designed wooden hangers that provide proper support, help garments retain their shape, and contribute to a more organised wardrobe.
What began as a solution to our own everyday problem eventually became Amelia Coast.
Today, we focus on offering carefully selected wardrobe essentials that combine durability, functionality, and timeless design, helping customers protect the clothing they enjoy wearing.

From the beginning, the brand has focused exclusively on the UK market, which is why our store, customer experience, and logistics have been built around British customers.
To provide fast and reliable delivery throughout the UK, we work with UK-based fulfilment and logistics partners. Orders are processed through our fulfilment network within the United Kingdom, while SS Commerce manages the business operations, customer support, supplier relationships, and product selection from the Netherlands.
